Welcome to Treynor High School. The High School serves approximately 260 ninth through twelfth grade students.
The high school addition was completed in 2008 with a new wing to the south containing a Fine Arts Facility being completed in 2021. The 2008 addition contains a kitchen and serving facilities, a science lab, and several classrooms. There are also offices for the superintendent, high school principal, the board secretary, and the secretaries for the high school and superintendent. The 2021 addition added four regular classrooms, two offices, two meeting rooms, and restrooms as well as a Fine Arts wing that contains a 500-seat theater and band & vocal music classrooms. In addition, a make-up room, instrument storage and ensemble rooms were included in this addition.
The high school also shares classrooms with the middle school students in the connected shared space area, which is to the north of the new high school. Classes held in this area include Family and Consumer Science, Science, and Industrial Technology. This shared area also contains the West and East Gyms and a Study Hall Room. The space that formerly housed the auditorium, music and band classrooms was remodeled to create a larger wrestling room, two locker rooms and an Athletic Director office and meeting room.
The district is fortunate in having very fine facilities, both from the standpoint of equipment and buildings. All the classrooms in the district are connected to the Internet via wired and wireless networking.
